What a nice surprise to open on a Thursday morning and be cash mobbed by 25+ people!

I really didn’t know what a cash mob was but since the signs said cash I figured it had to be something about money! A local business marketing group, the Parker Power Partners are starting an effort to help small locally owned businesses in our area by sponsoring one of these mobs once a month. Since one of my oldest friends Chrissy Morin is one of the P3 group she nominated Fruits of Our Spirit for the kick off.
We even had a 9News reporter, a reporter from the Parker Chronicle and Kirk Selby here filming and doing interviews and photographer Trish Robitaille. I was truly overwhelmed by the nice gesture and the immediate influx of cash in a slow month before our big move to Mainstreet.
I would so much like to thank my dear friend Chrissy (who also designed my website) Mike Harrity of RelyLocal Parker, Kena Peterson, Kirk Selby, Ken Highberger for organizing and setting this even up. I was also very touched that my neighbor Joshfrom Fika Coffee was so sweet to set up a stand right outside the door and gift people with free coffee with a receipt from my store. I would also like to thank all of the people that I’d never seen before who just came out to support this idea in our town.
Here is the press received so far:

Best of Parker: Fruits of Our Spirit Mobbed on Mainstreet
Parker Chronicle: “Cash Mob” patronizes Parker shop (both online and in print)
We haven’t seen the 9News report but when we do we’ll post it here for you.
